Fine arts major

Think I immersed my kid into the wonderful world of art and dance today.    This morning was ballet class....we changed clothes and went to "Waterway Wednesdays."  Our community association puts it all together...happens once a month...costs 7 bucks...they bring everything...and the creativity doors open wide.

The little ballerina did great at her weekly dance lesson...they are moving on to actual ballet moves and poses.  I just call them twirls and "hands over head" because I have no clue what they are doing....but, that is ok too!  ;)

Our "art outing" in the park was fun.  Very busy...but worth it.  Little E made her own poster board finger paint masterpiece, a sock "bug" with custom paint, and her own ceramic hand painted tile with her name on it...a stand too!

She LOVES this bug she made....it is a sock stuffed with dry rice, rubber bands to make the body segments, pipe cleaners for legs and antennas....followed up with googly eyes and some finger paint.  What is not to love?

She looked like a 100% ragamuffin when she was finished.  Disheveled ballet ponytail...and a dress covered in paint.  Good thing it is washable.....

Spray n wash....here I come.
