
Since I can remember...I have always kinda struggled with my skin....not terrible skin....but just not clear skin.
It is either covered in breakouts, or it is red, or splotchy...
Yes, there are worse things to worry about...but, when your skin feels uncomfortable...so do you.
I have made countless trips to the dermatologist...leaving with topical creams that burn my face and cause it to peel like an onion. Pockets full of antibiotics that kill the good bacteria in my body and then cause other problems...and my favorite was a potassium blocking medicine used for heart conditions. (They recently discovered it helps clear acne) This worked wonders. Cleared my skin up right away...but it messed with my hormones...and that is as far as I will go with that story.
So, I am sure you are sick of hearing me complain about my skin.
But, I think I have found another angle...another way to "fix" it.
The more and more I read on the Internet...I wonder if it is the old saying that "you are what you eat."
I regularly stuff my face with over processed junk. Granola bars filled with sugar, cereal, goldfish, crackers, cookies.....
This 30 something mom is tired of having skin that looks like a 14 year old going through puberty.
So, I am vowing to stay away from it. Not to loose weight...just to see if it helps.
Fresh food, natural food, easy food.
No, I am not turning into a food weirdo...I just want clear skin...and I will try whatever it takes.
Ok, that was painful to read for the 2 people who made it to the end.
I hope to have positive news to report on my exciting new way of eating.
Clearly...I will slip up...I ain't perfect...
But I will do my best.
I already miss crackers.

You've got to try "Finacea" it's from the dermatologist. I have never had any luck either and to tell you the truth been fed up. But I went to a new derm and she gave me a sample, it's awesome. No redness, no peeling and it clears it up within a day. You can use it on the spot or all over. I definitely recommend!
