Meatball city

I don't even like spaghetti really. Just doesn't do it for me. But, tomorrow is Father's Day....my Dad loves spaghetti....my husband loves it...and so does my father in law....so why not?

Today I spent almost 3 hours making meatballs and sauce from scratch. (I used canned tomatoes) ;)

Shorty's grandma is 100% Sicilian. She shared her recipe with me for "Sicilian Meatballs and sauce."

Yes, I said I didn't really care for spaghetti...but hers is out of this world....

I know mine won't be as good as hers....but....with all that time I spent....it better be kinda good.
Think I am a clean cook? I usually clean as I go....but not so much today. What a slob!
Here it is....the final product to simmer for 3 hours. I tasted it....and it IS good.
